Account & Profile

Manage your company details, personal profile, and account-wide settings from the Settings page.

Updating company details

Go to Settings → Company to update:

  • Company name
  • Business address
  • Contact email
  • Phone number

The company name appears on service reports sent to pool owners, so make sure it matches the name your customers know you by.

Updating your personal profile

Go to Settings → Profile to update your own name and email address. Your email address is also your login — if you change it, you'll use the new address the next time you log in.

Changing your password

Go to Settings → Profile and click Change password. Enter your current password, then your new password twice, and click Save.

If you've forgotten your password, log out and use the "Forgot password" link on the login page.

GPS location tracking

Go to Settings → Mobile to manage GPS tracking for your team.

When the GPS tracking toggle is turned on:

  • Technicians who have location sharing enabled on their device will have their location recorded by the PoolOps app.
  • Each technician's location is updated approximately every 5 minutes while they're on shift.
  • Their current location appears as a pin on the map on the Team page, so you can see where everyone is throughout the day.
  • When optimising a route, you can use a technician's current GPS location as the starting point.

Turning this setting off disables location collection for all technicians. Individual technicians can also decline location sharing on their device, in which case they won't appear on the map regardless of this setting.
