Adding Team Members

Technicians are added and managed from the Team page. Each technician gets their own login for the PoolOps mobile app.

Inviting a technician

  1. Go to Team in the left sidebar.
  2. Click + Add technician.
  3. Enter the technician's full name and email address.
  4. Click Send invite.

PoolOps sends your technician an email with a "Set up your account" link. They click the link, choose a password, and download the PoolOps mobile app. Once they've logged in, they'll appear as active on your Team page and be available to assign jobs to.

Plan limits

The number of active technicians you can have depends on your plan:

  • Solo — 1 technician
  • Pro — up to 3 technicians
  • Crew — up to 10 technicians
  • Business — unlimited technicians

If you've reached your plan limit, you'll need to upgrade before adding more team members. Go to Settings → Billing to change your plan.

Resending an invite

If a technician hasn't received or can't find their invite email, open their record on the Team page and click Resend invite. Ask them to check their spam folder if it still doesn't arrive.

Removing a technician

Open the technician's record on the Team page and click Remove from team. Their account is deactivated and they'll no longer be able to log in to the PoolOps app. Any jobs assigned to them remain on the schedule — you'll need to reassign them manually.

Removing a technician does not delete their service history. All reports they submitted remain in your records.
